Loved it. I keep getting the 33 ounce beer and patuxent chicken. Outstanding. The crab imperial is the best ever. Stormy is a great waitress too.

Awesome seafood! Best seafood platter I've ever had! Pricey, but worth every penny.

We just enjoyed a fine meal at Clark's Landing. We had excellent seafood, nice and fresh, well prepared. Our server, Ashley, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Dinner was a bit pricey--$30 for the seafood platter--but it's definitely worth it. My platter was loaded with crab, scallops, shrimp, and a good-sized fillet of fish. My husband ordered the soft crab platter and was served three rather than two due to their somewhat smaller size. That was a nice touch! Very nice dinner...highly recommended for a casual dinner!

I loved my first trip to Clarke's! Don't expect anything fancy, but expect delicious seafood and warm, friendly staff. I had the crabcake which was good, no filler, huge chunks of lump crab meat. YUM. I felt it could've had more spices for a little more flavor, but it was delicious. I got a petite salad with it and the salad was refreshing from being in the heat all day. My boyfriend got the fried shrimp which were AMAZING. Best fried shrimp I've ever tasted. The breading was just a thin layer rather than a bulky hunk of breading like fried shrimp elsewhere. SO GOOD. I need to go back and have those. YUM.

I love crabs and seafood and tried a lot of places to find a good crab cake. Their crab cake is one of the best, full of sweat fresh lump meat with just enough spices and filler to make it great even without adding any tartar or cocktail sauces. I had it fried and boy, it's perfect! Very lightly crispy in the outer texture to make my crab cake sandwich a happy experience. Its served with a choice of chips or fries. i want to go back just for that delicious meal again and again. I have also had their excellent and well recommended soups : seafood chowder and spicy tomatoes and vegetable and crab. Both are very good as a starter in cups or lighter meal in bowl size. Yummy. Another reason to go back... Last time, we tried to stop by on a nice Friday or Saturday evening, the place was packed with cars so we did not stay. I'll just have to time our visit during off peak times like lunch and week days... Go and enjoy one of the best traditional southern MD treasure.

Understand that this is southern MD cooking people. As different as northern and southern Italian cooking, same ingredients, different aspects. Get the little tiny menu item in the bottom right corner...fish tacos. 3 fer $12 and they are humongous fresh fried spicy Grouper with homemade bay fried chips that make others look has-been. Nice salsa and homemade tarter--like spice n' heat meet cream n'tart. mmmmm. Way to go guys, and on one of the estuary bays. Party for grown-ups.

Yes, it is as good as it gets, but that doesnt mean much without context. This restaurant is several miles down a road to apparently nowhere and emerges at what appears to be a dead end as you hit the Patuxent. I actually went on another Yelper's recommendation and circled back a few times thinking I missed it. Key point---when you hit the end of the road, take the left turn and you'll find the restaurant a few hundred feet up. As others have noted, yes, it is a plastic lawn chair kind of joint intended for locals. But the two things I tried (three if you count the delicious ice cold tall beers) were the crab balls (tastey!) and the seafood Fra Diavlo. The seafood dish is fettucine noodles mixed in light but slightly spicy marinara sauce with huge scallops and plenty of mussels. I ate there about two months ago and havent stopped raving about it since. Its located about an hour and half drive from where I live, which is the only thing that has stopped me from going back for a second helping. I cant vouch for the rest of the menu, but I loved this place. Sure, I love fancy fish and Italian restaurants too. But if you want to go somewhere on the water in flip flops and a tshirt but still enjoy great food with a waterfront view, this is the place to go in southern Maryland.

I've eaten at Clarke's twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Clarke's is off the beaten path but it's worth the effort to get there. Clarke's seems like a local's hangout to me. It's got a bar area, a dining area and the porch. I've eaten on the porch both times. Don't expect anything fancy. They have plastic lawn chairs out there but the view of the water is great. But let's be real. You don't go to Clarke's for its ambiance. You go because they have good food. I've had the boiled shrimp and the crabcake sandwhich. Both were excellent. I'm sure I'll be back in the area again and when I do I'll make a trip to Clarke's.
